The UV sensory lighting kits consist of cracked polymer fibres in an ultraviolet reactive coating which glows vibrantly under an ultraviolet black light. Up to 8 different colours can be incorporated into one fibre optic harness.

The effect provided by the UV lighting kits is different to that given by the standard sensory lighting kits. The tails do not change colour, instead a stunning sparkling effect is achieved – even without the use of UV light.

Like the standard sensory lighting fibres, the UV harnesses provide engaging visual stimulation for children and adults with special needs. The UV fibres are also particularly beneficial to those with impaired vision, as the colour is more intense than regular light.

The fibres are manufactured from certified phthalate free fibre and is completely safe to touch due to the absence of electricity and heat within it. The light source does get warm and should be kept out of reach.

Can be used both with and without a UV light- add a UV LED Bar to your order, and you have everything you need to make the most of these fibres.

The UV Bar is fitted with 9 x 3W UV LEDs.
