Sense Sensory are proud manufacturers of The Original Sensory Padded Plinth for sensory rooms, calming areas, safe spaces and de-escalation rooms.
Beautifully upholstered to your specification here in the UK, we can produce padded plinths to suit any shape or size, curved or rectangular, as just a padded seating area or with holes for sensory equipment.
- Our standard plinth's are available in 1m and 2m lengths. Each plinth is 40cm in height and 50cm wide.
- Our 1m plinth comes with a 1m x 50cm wall pad for fixing back to the wall, or for our 2m option, a 2m x 50cm wall pad.
- Plinth's are available in your colour choice, we have swatches available if you would like a pack sent out please let us know. You can even have two colours- so the wall pad and the plinth are contrasting.

- 1m Sensory Padded Plinth with two holes- one for fibre optics at the base and one for a Sensory Tube

Our bases are hollow inside, to allow for light sources to house underneath, and cables to be hidden. A good tip is that you place the plinth near a socket, or directly behind a low level socket.
Does not include the fibre optics or the sensory tubes- please search online for bubble tubes, colour creation tubes and fibre optics and add these to your cart if required.
